The Laid Back Locals Bar

The Monkey Lala has a fun,laid-back vibe.  A lot of locals like to visit this bar of the restaurant for sports, seafood, or just a cold one.  This level use to operate independently of the upstairs restaurant.  In 2020, we needed the space for Averys seafood and outdoor dining thru covid.  We completely renovated this level to make it more appealing to diners.  All indoor seating is hightop tables or a horse shaped bar.  The patio area serves as a first come first serve section for seafood diners from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  In 2023, we rebranded this level as The Monkey Lala @AverysMarylandGrille to tie into the fact that we serve the same great seafood on both levels yet keep the unique feel of the bar.
